The program of the college covers the latest developments and are designed based on technological and market needs. The college has collaborations with national and international institutes and multinational companies who visit the college, host seminars, conference and encourage R&D work.

Shri Rawatpura Institute of Technology & Science was founded on 12th October 2002 and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Vide Approval Letter No. 06/01/M.P./Engg./2002/013 dt.30 April 2003. AICTE is the apex regulatory & statutory body responsible for technical education in the nation. SRITS is affiliated to the University of Technology M.P. - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal for examination and award of the degrees.

Department of Mechanical Engineering

At SRITS, we have exceptional facilities for our mechanical Engineering. Students. We recognize how important it is for student to apply their theoretical knowledge and that only application and exploration can lead to true learning. Naturally, therefore, our Mechanical Engineering. Laboratories and workshop have the finest equipments and are maintained impeccably. We have dedicated faculty members who follow new trends and developments in the spare of Mechanical Engineering. In the growing mechanical advancement of the world, the significance of machine and tools can hardly be condoned. Mechanical Engineering. Department, one of the well equipped department of the institute, boasts of specialization like production, thermal, designing, planning, quality control etc. constant and careful attention to the department has immensely helped in maintaining it up to date, which provide the student the technical know how. It is strictly monitored that students do have rigorous training in the machine shops, smithy, carpentry, measurement, testing etc. which form the part of the curriculum.

Department of Computer Science & IT

The Department focuses on the quality of IT education appropriate to the needs of the IT industries Students are trained thoroughly in computer fundamentals as per the prescribed syllabus of the University. It produces Engineers who are confident in handling both hardware and software problems. They are competent to tackle the online / live problems of an industry and translate it to the Management Information System (MIS). We toiled hard amidst adversities to reach the goal. Success comes from hard work and sincere effort. Department of Electronic & Communication

Electronics Engineering is a constantly changing and widening branch of the engineering profession. Electronics industry provides many job opportunities for the skilled job seekers. Increased production and demand by government and businesses for communication equipment, computers and military electronics along with consumer demand and increased research and development on robots and other types of automation contributes to the growth of employment opportunities in the field. Candidates having a creative and inventive mind and also are good at physics and mathematics will probably find electronics engineering a challenging and lucrative career. Electronics & Communication is making exhilarating progress in areas ranging from microelectronics, mobile communications to VLSI Design Automation. In labs and classrooms, students draw on the expertise and knowledge of our able faculty, integrating practical, hands-on research experience with challenging and interesting course-work. The team approach is very warm in the Department of E&CE. A palpable excitement surrounds the Department of E&CE, an enthusiasm pervades every classroom and lab, invigorating our students and spurring on our faculty to fresh innovations. Today Electronics & Communication have not only assumed strategic importance in the corporate world, they are also being effectively used in almost every field of human endeavor. It gives us immense pleasure and pride to introduce the Department of Electronics & communication Engineering of SRITS DATIA that is committed to add new dimensions to the existing goodwill of its name and glory. The department focuses on development and strengthening system thinking, problem solving, analysis, design, research, team work and readiness for lifelong learning. This department is assiduously heading towards achieving high academic standards and values while preparing Electronics & Communication graduates to meet the GLOBAL STANDARDS. Through a team of more than thirty faculty members, the department puts a great emphasis on Quality teaching, laboratory and project work & gives excellent results. We are also actively encouraging senior students to mentor their juniors in lab and project work. Our alumni are also providing us help with their support for guiding the current students.

Department of Civil Egineering 

Civil Engineering is the application of physical and scientific principles, and its history is intricately linked to advances in understanding of physics and mathematics throughout history. Because civil engineering is a wide ranging profession, including several separate specialized sub-disciplines, its history is linked to knowledge of structures, materials science, geography, geology, soils, hydrology, environment, mechanics and other fields. Throughout ancient and medieval history most architectural design and construction was carried out by artisans, such as stone masons and carpenters, rising to the role of master builder. Knowledge was retained in guilds and seldom supplanted by advances. Structures, roads and infrastructure that existed were repetitive, and increases in scale were incremental. One of the earliest examples of a scientific approach to physical and mathematical problems applicable to civil engineering is the work of Archimedes in the 3rd century BC, including Archimedes Principle, which underpins our understanding of buoyancy, and practical solutions such as Archimedes' screw. Brahmagupta, an Indian mathematician, used arithmetic in the 7th century AD, based on Hindu-Arabic numerals, for excavation (volume) computations. Civil engineering is the broadest of the engineering fields. Civil engineering focuses on the infrastructure of the world which include Water works, Sewers, Dams, Power Plants, Transmission Towers/Lines, Railroads, Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Irrigation Canals, River Navigation, Shipping Canals, Traffic Control, Mass Transit, Airport Runways, Terminals, Industrial Plant Buildings, Skyscrapers, etc. Among the important subdivisions of the field are construction engineering, irrigation engineering, transportation engineering, soils and foundation engineering, geodetic engineering, hydraulic engineering, and coastal and ocean engineering. Civil engineers build the world’s infrastructure. In doing so, they quietly shape the history of nations around the world. Most people can not imagine life without the many contributions of civil engineers to the public’s health, safety and standard of living.
